Pitch CV as a v-trigger sync signal

For no real reason, I occasionally consider using pitch CV for other purposes.

As such I sequenced a simple melodic sequence on the Oxi One, and used that as a sync signal.

Working with the Behringer RD8 MkII and Oxi One,

Setting the CV out as v/oct, and using the Major scale, the workable range of pitch seems to be 

A3 for up.

C3 for down.
